Everyone deserves to feel safe and live without fear. To live a life free from physical and psychological abuse. Free from slavery, torture, exploitation, racism, oppression, discrimination, intimidation, harassment, interference and gaslighting. The trauma response to such experiences can have long-term and devastating impacts on an individual, not all of which are visible to others. Fear is fuelled when an individual’s freedom is taken away by the cruel intentions of another.
