The words say it all – Australia’s treatment of asylum seekers has seen appalling violations of their human rights. Asylum seeking is a human right – our government has created a fiction to suit their own political agenda. I am outraged and saddened when I hear so many heart-wrenching reports from refugees and asylum seekers of their experiences in detention and beyond.
